Am about to be homless and I have to take my cat don't wanna be shelters and now I'm feeling so guilty but I don't know what else to do. I'm honestly thinking about just giving him a whole brand new home because seeing him like that will just break my heart.

My wife works as a vet tech at an animal hospital here in Chicago. Unfortunately, it’s not that uncommon for people to have to relinquish ownership of their pets to the hospital. In most cases, it’s because they simply can’t afford the medical treatment their pet needs, or they’re no longer in a position to provide the care they require. It’s such a heartbreaking situation for everyone involved, especially when you know the owners are making that decision because they feel they have no other choice.

How can anyone give up there animals I will never understand. My cats are everything to me and I would move mountains to make sure they are happy, heathy and safe. I hope all these beautiful babies get the best home 🧡
