Girl.... where are you from? Which area are you currently living in? If you are Uptown, Garden District, Tulane Univ., of course you will say it's safe around those multi-million dollar homes. Most locals here will automatically keep their heads on a swivel, including myself, but that's what you should always do in any city. Just because you haven't had a bad experience, please don't say it's completely safe. Yes, it's a great city. Yes, we have great culture and friendly people, but you still have to be self-aware and use common sense when roaming the city.
