@informed.era: Sometimes it feels like we went from normal life to a completely different world overnight. In just a few years, we’ve watched COVID reshape everyday life, wars spread, the climate crisis worsen, cost of living climb, and political division become impossible to ignore. And now, under the current Trump administration, immigration raids, rising fuel costs, and constant political turmoil have become part of the backdrop of everyday life. A September Reuters/Ipsos poll found that just 32% of Americans approved of Trump’s overall job performance, his lowest approval rating in their polling. While only 17% approved of how he’s handling the cost of living. We don’t even realize how much has changed until we look back. There was a time when the biggest things we worried about were so much smaller. It’s not about pretending the past was perfect. It’s about recognizing how much has changed, and how badly a lot of people seem to miss feeling like the future was something to look forward to. #politics #news #edit #viral #fyp
