I’m sorry, but I’ll tell the school directly that I will not tolerate them taking my child’s phone and doing anything with it because if there is an emergency, I want them to be able to contact me. That being said, I don’t condone them getting on their phone and not paying attention when it’s time to learn, and if this happens, I as the parent should be notified and told about it rather than the school taking it upon themselves to take it

my province has a phone ban but you can still use your phone when your not in class and for educational reasons like I take progress pictures in art class

ban them entirely...call the school in an emergency, your kids can't do anything for you ... if you're not calling an ambulance first its not an emergency....centuries of students survived without a phone

Completely ban them. They absolutely should not have phones in school. Ban all phones then suspend kids who bring them anyway and confiscate the phones

Kids not having phones in school stresses me out specially when I think about 9/11 growing up. You can tell students you’ll fell my class if I see it out in my class but i think everyone should have a phone just turn it off during school hrs
