@zoomiecat: #edit #fnv #fyp #fallout Joshua Graham, known as the Burned Man, is a character in Fallout New Vegas and the leader of the Dead Horses tribe in the Honest Hearts DLC. Before the events of the game, he served as the first Legate in Caesar’s Legion and helped conquer the American Southwest. After suffering a devastating defeat at the First Battle of Hoover Dam, Caesar ordered him to be thrown into the Grand Canyon, covered in pitch, and set on fire. Despite the punishment, Joshua survived and eventually became a respected tribal leader. Joshua is recognizable by his bandages, covering nearly his entire body. They conceal the severe burns he received from his execution. He is a calm and deeply religious character. He speaks with confidence even when he is discussing violence. His experiences with the Legion have left him bitter toward Caesar, but he has not completely abandoned the ruthless methods he learned during his time as a military commander. He carries a pair of .45 auto pistols and is a skilled fighter, particularly with firearms and close quarter combat. Despite his violent past, Joshua is also a deeply conflicted character who is trying to determine what kind of person he wants to become. His faith plays an important role in how he understands his suffering, revenge, and responsibility toward the Dead Horses. Throughout Honest Hearts, you can see the tension between his desire for vengeance and his attempts to show mercy. Joshua Graham represents someone struggling to move beyond his past while still carrying the physical and psychological scars of everything he has done.
