If you keep letting all that dust go down the drain eventually it can clog. It’s better to shake off the dust in the trash and then rinsing it under the faucet or like you said have a bucket next to you to keep soaking it

did you damp them yourself? when i went to tjmaxx, the scrub daddy ones were all already "damp" in their bag, and were forming mold. i was quite surprised they would be selling them like that
