Claiming you want to lower prescription prices while being celebrated as a major industry ally is a massive contradiction that 'We the People' can see straight through. True accountability means looking past the campaign theater and judging leaders by their actions, not their ads. We cannot afford to let election-year promises blind us to years of institutional records. From bypassing the constitutional necessity of a congressional vote on foreign interventions to accepting massive financial backing from major pharmaceutical lobbies, the pattern of putting corporate interests and partisan loyalty over public duty is clear.
