@vanezmu: Not everyone experiences the week before their period the same way 💔 A lot of people think PMDD is just “bad PMS,” but there is a difference. PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder): A more severe condition where emotional and psychological symptoms can become intense and interfere with daily life. This can include: • extreme mood changes • intense irritability or anger • feeling hopeless or overwhelmed • severe anxiety • rejection sensitivity feeling amplified • feeling like you’re not yourself • difficulty functioning normally One important clue: PMDD symptoms usually appear during the luteal phase (the 1–2 weeks before your period) and improve once your period starts or shortly after. If you feel like you become a completely different person every month and then “come back to yourself” after your period starts, it may be worth tracking your symptoms and talking to a healthcare professional. 🩷 To anyone who experiences this: you’re not alone. 🫶🏼 #PMDD #pmddawareness #adhdwomen #autismwomen
