As a scientist, the movie depicted something we don’t question ourselves with enough. How far is too far did we go in science? Because yeah, we made good discoveries but at what cost? He didn’t get to see what his science done until after all the while so many people questioned him. Even Einstein never let himself go that far. It was an ethical dilemma that got answered and the after, the after was more tragic than we could think.

No one talks about MAZDA. yes the car brand. I bout a Mazda cx9 and noticed it said "built in Hiroshima, Japan" that got my wheels turning. "i thought that city was still radioactive?" Google got me going. The Mazda plant has been there since before the bombing and when the city was bombed, the factory was protect by a mountain. Mazda opened its doors to remaining survivors of the horrendous bombing and they lived there for months until everyone was back on their feet. Thus, Mazda vehicles are still manufactured there to this day! I love that incredible story about resilience and community! ❤️

I am 49 and I seriously did not know that ANYONE didn’t think this was horrific and never should have happened until 6 months ago, when I shared a post about it and someone I know came in my comments and tried to defend it. I do not understand how ANYONE could find this acceptable or justifiable in any way, shape, or form.
