@lumbeetribenorthcarolina: What an amazing opening day of the Dance of the Harvest Moon powwow. It was a beautiful day! Grand Entry was so special as hundreds of dancers filled the arena. This years powwow is so special since it is the first powwow since our people received full federal recognition in December. It is extra special because we have a record number of drum groups. It was beautiful to welcome our community, tribal citizens, relatives, and friends from across the globe. See you tomorrow! Gates open at 10 am!
