Yes, I appreciate Old Mutual Investment Group Unit Trust. It is a good way to invest, especially for people who want to build their money consistently. My concern, however, is that few people talk about the deposit charges, which can significantly affect regular investors recoverable in 2-3 months in terms of interests For example, a UGX 100,000 deposit attracts UGX 950, plus UGX 460 for allocation. From UGX 100,001 to 200,000, the charge is UGX 1,050 + UGX 460 allocation; from UGX 200,001 to 500,000, it is UGX 1,300 + UGX 460 allocation. The charges increase further with larger deposits. On the portal, a UGX 500,000 deposit attracts UGX 7,500 plus UGX 1,125 excise duty, totaling UGX 8,625. even through cnte mobile the charges remain the same exclusive of the 460shs My concern is simply that these charges are becoming quite high , especially for people investing regularly. hoping they get less charging ways of depositng
