Gerona calls the dogs Rambo, Daot, Blacky, Layla, and Kuya. The dogs often stay near him while he directs traffic and reminds motorists to follow road rules. According to Gerona, the dogs usually run toward him when he arrives at around 6 a.m. to begin his shift.
