honestly, if they want to increase the time frames they should consider doing it the way Ireland does, after 2 years you get to switch to a different visa type which means you no longer have to be dependent on a sponsorship company. You still have to complete the rest of the years before applying for citizenship and you won't get benefits. I don't mind, I don't want the benefits, but I do not want to be tied to a specific company for 15 years.

Tbh these law changes are affecting the child dependents that were brought in with these visas more. I came here when I was 15 and my brother was 17. We are both in uni now and have to pay the same as international students which is around 30k each year for both of us. A lot of ppl can't afford this. I have friends who can't go to uni because they can't pay this

What’s the guarantee that the 15 year old route wouldn’t change again ? Individual differences, my only concern is that do not limit us to one sponsor. I want freedom to work and not under sponsorship or any citizenship.
