@wonder.meemay: Awareness to all parents: Our children have struggles too. My son is usually energetic, bubbly, and makwento. Kaya bihira namin siyang makitang ganito. And what broke my heart even more was realizing that he was trying to hide this emotion from us. That morning, he woke up just fine. During breakfast, he casually told me that he didn't get to finish his homework. So, I told him that it's okay and that he can still finish it before he go to school if it really bothers him. I thought he was already okay with it. After I left that day, I checked on him and saw this video. My heart instantly shattered to pieces. My Tebby was having a meltdown. I immediately called him and tried to calm him down. I comforted him until I know he was doing fine. Later that day, I asked him why he was crying and he told me that he couldn't keep up with his homework. That's when I looked closely on what he's been working on and I realized... mabigat pala para sa kanya. Knowing my son, he usually does his homework before going home and whenever I ask him he would say that he's done. So I thought all along that he was doing okay. My son is still learning Japanese. He can barely speak the language, yet every single day, he goes to school, listens to lessons in Japanese, reads, writes kanji, does his homework and tries his best to keep up. But sometimes, doing your best doesn’t mean you’re not struggling. And that was my realization as a parent. Sometimes we see our children playing, laughing, eating, and going to school normally, so we assume they’re okay. But they’re carrying things too. They may be young, but their struggles are real. After that, I enrolled my son with a Japanese language tutor, not because I wanted to put more pressure on him, but because I wanted to let him know that he can tell us when he needs help. That we understand his struggles and that we are here to give him support. Little by little, he’s becoming more confident. And this experience reminded me that sometimes our children don’t need us to solve everything. They just need to know that home is a safe place to struggle, to cry, to make mistakes, and to say, “I need help.” To all parents, let’s pay attention even to the emotions our children don’t show us. Because behind the happiest and most energetic child can be a little heart quietly trying its best to keep up. 🤍 Their struggles may look small to us, but in their little world, they can feel very big.

This is what I hate about our system din talaga. Isipin mo 7-5 na yung bata sa school tapos tinatadtad pa ng assignments pag uwi. Minsan wala na silang time for othet activites kasi nalulunod sa homework pag uwi 😭

genuine question lang, bakit pinalipat na riyan ang bata kahit di pa well versed sa Japanese language? hindi ba naisip kung gaano kahirap mag adjust tas pina-enroll agad?

It’s rare to see a mom who notices those struggles and instead of invalidating them bu telling them “ang bata mo pa para magkaproblema” or sometimes tatawanan ka pa kasi ang OA mo, they give their kids the support they need and help them in a way they know how. And as a daughter, I am very proud of you for that. You are doing a great job raising that boy; as long as you don’t change your’ ways, I know you’ll be raising a wonderful person who will live his life thanking he has a mom like you ❤️

In this situation my mom will just say to me "Sana tinapos mo agad yan, edi hindi kana umiiyak iyak jan. Tamad tamad mo kasi" mind you po nag lilinis naman ako ng pinapalinis nya tapos kong hindi ko na gawa on time sasabihan nya ako na sya na lang lagi gumagalaw sa bahay. I love my mom so much but she doesn't even consider my feelings, I can't even open up to her without worrying that she will tell someone then laughed like it's nothing. One time nga po she told me to open up to her because she saw me crying I opened up to her, willingly but in out first fight after I opened up she brought it up to use it against me saying that I only want her sympathy.

As a dating nag-aral ng Japanese at nagwork sa Japan for 3 years. Grabe po talagang hirap mag-aral ng Nihonggo. Sobrang nakakadrain ng utak. Kaya feel ko nararamdaman ng bata. Kaya sana gabayan nyo po sya baka po nasestress na sya sa dami nyang ikeep up and nakakafrustrate din kapag di mo maintindihan nasa paligid mo. Stay strong big boy❤️You will be okay😊❤️
