Fun fact! In the novel version of book 1 it’s revealed that in Yuu’s world, no one who knew him remembers him at all. Like he never existed in his world at all. :)

in the novels, when that Yuu goes missing, everyone forgets. They tell us about his school, and when one classmate points out an empty seat where he originally was, the others shrug and say no one sat there. It could’ve been when you travel and your entire existence is erased, but it was made clear by the Narrator and Yuu that he was a nobody. Average looking, no friends, no sports or clubs. He could’ve blended in perfectly/no one actually cared.

Uff por fin tocan este punto. Todo muy lindo en NR y tal, pero solo maginen lo tristes y desconsolados que han de estar los padres y familias de los yuu. Son detalles que quedan cubiertos y fácilmente ignorados por toda la trama de la obra, pero si lo pensamos, ya yuu tiene casi un año de estar en TW, sin que sus padres ni familia sepan de él/ella. Simplemente desaparecieron sin dejar rastro... Es realmente triste.
