What about if she calls you every day to complain about him and he’s a drunk and almost caused her to lose custody of her kids? I never told her that I didn’t like him, I just told her the next time she should use a matchmaker and not an app and she got offended but she didn’t tell me to my face- she told a mutual friend (who also doesn’t like this guy). Anyway, I’m very glad that she stopped trauma dumping on me every day. I got my time back.

hmm I don’t know about this. feels like a breeding ground for resentment either way. perhaps this is more of a question whether we are compatible as friends because your partner is a major part of your life, and if I don’t like that person - then it’s a iffy situation.
