Now, I do agree with you, you featured one of my debates where I hosted Kylo and a guy named Tayy, I do wanna host a space where like beginners can come in and have productive conversations and debates. Also at the same time the very nature of debate is competitive and a lot of people do enjoy like bloodsport debates, a.k.a. debates for people are competing behaving aggressively, and trying to establish that their idea is better. I wish we could live in the world where everybody like, respected each other‘s feelings and mental health and engaged in productive conversation, but we do have people who are bad faith, or people who are promoting bad ideas or people who are disrespecting each other and I think people should train or gain the tools to be able to debate these topics aggressively and defend yourself and your friends. I don’t know I feel like we should be having productive debates, but I also feel like we should know how to defend ourselves and compete when it’s required. I don’t see the problem with like debates or people aggressively go out at each other except for the fact that it might deter beginners. I think there’s a time in space and sometimes you fight and sometimes you have conversations.
