i worked as host at a restaurant, and at the time i had super short hair (male haircut) and a button up which made me look like a straight up dude, but you could tell i was female because of my facial features, voice, etc; so it was a couple and their older daughter and they were all speaking polish to each other, and I was leaning on the host stand because my manager was taking care of them, i made quick eye contact with the mother and she said to her husband "czy to chłopak, czy dziewczyna" and i stared her dead in the eyes and replied "dziewczyna" the IMMEDIATE look of shock on her and her families faces was hilarious, she was so apologetic and completely embarrassed. all this happened while my manager stood there looking so confused 🤣😭
