@leeinbangkok: Today’s little clip is Bangkok after nearly 48 hours of nonstop rain. The roads were flooded, traffic slowed down, water everywhere… but people just seemed to adapt and get on with it. That’s one thing I’m learning living here. Rainy season in Thailand is definitely an experience, but there’s also a calmness to how people deal with it. No big drama. Just slow down, take your time, and keep going. It’s not always the postcard version of Thailand — but it is real life here. Yes we just get on with it. My family home is in Chiang Mai and we get a LOT of rain. We deal with the heat and the rain - the smokey season is something that really concerns us and it's something we should be controlling better.
