I flew from Zamboanga to Sacaon just to meet my high school besties. 🥺❤️ I honestly didn’t expect that despite how many years we’ve been apart they would still prepare a birthday surprise for me—even if it was a belated celebration. We were only planning to meet because Manang Joverly was visiting the Philippines for a few weeks before going back to Australia while Manang Rhea has been busy with work in Bayog and I’ve been busy with my own life in Zamboanga also. It was supposed to be just a quick meet-up but after our short time together this was what welcomed me when I arrived home. 🥺🎂 I’m so grateful to have this kind of friendship. After all these years apart, our bond and closeness are still there.
