they dye cells different colors that show different parts better, this is plant cells that are completely undyed so you really only see cell walls and Chloroplasts, and maybe a nuclei here and there.

yeah that’s why we use dyes like methylene blue and iodine to stain the cells so that the structures are visible. kinda hard to see things that are transparent
