After spending over four decades behind bars, Dorothy Morris, the woman who orchestrated the 1982 murder of her boyfriend, has been granted parole at 95 years old. Morris was convicted for convincing her son and a friend to murder her boyfriend, Rudolph Helmreich, and later forged his will to claim his estate. Despite serving time for a variety of crimes, including embezzlement, her parole has raised questions about justice, age, and the possibility of redemption. Morris is now required to live under medical care and will remain on parole until 2029.
