We had seen him about 10 minutes before we dropped him off at his bike he passed July 4th at 2 in the morning.

Not being able to say goodbye one last time is so hard! With my uncle, I saw him die horribly in front of my eyes. So I got to stay by him and in a way say goodbye, so it was bittersweet too. But with some other relatives, like my aunt and most of my grandparents, I didn’t get to properly say goodbye, so I get that side too.

I don't have a single photo with him. We lost him very suddenly 10 years ago. He wasn't my blood uncle but my parents best friend. We never knew how we should of had photos. We never thought thoes would be the last memories

i went to my uncles open casket funeral and i cried so much. i miss you so so so so so much uncle doo doo. im so sorry that i was mad at you before passing and i wish i wouldve known of what was actually happening. i miss you so much.
