🤔 It can be any of these problems. 1. ignition switch on 3rd position to send signal/power to the starter is not making contact. 2. Starter relay is not working it's bad need to 🐝 tested 3. Starter fuse is blown if so equipped. All he did was bypass the switch that energized the Starter. Connecting his 2 wires become the switch Since, he bypass it right at the fuse 📦. That tells you the problem is at the box. If he doesn't want to fix it correctly. All he needs is run those two wires to a witch at the base of the ignition and add a BiG Push Button Swith from. Advance Auto and the car 🚗 will now turn into a push to start car for less then $20. Caveat, The Car 🔑 needs to always be in position 2 before, button is push. So, all accessories will run and energized for 🔋. when the key is then turn to off position the car will turn off. 🤔 Don't ask me how, i know all that. I had Push to start in my car before, they had car with push to start. 🤣 IYKYK
