@yourfaveexemployee: Taking time off from work is vital for preventing burnout, lowering stress hormones, and protecting your long-term physical and mental health. And take the days. Seriously. But be honest with yourself about what they do — they help you recover from it. They don't change it. You come back to the same inbox, the same calendar, the same math. That's the part I got tired of. Resting my way through something instead of building my way out of it. So now the time off is for recovering, and the rest of my energy goes into an income stream that doesn't depend on a timesheet. I go LIVE every night at 7p EST and walk through exactly how that works. Follow so you get the notification, and tap in ⏳ #office #corporatelife #worklife #officelife #corporate
Exactly why I am going back to teaching. Yes-it’s a different sort of stress but the breaks are a reset I know I need and I prefer working with people who at least act their age…🤣.
