@thebeautydoctrine: The eye area is delicate. This is one place I’m especially selective about formulas. Today I’m using Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara. It’s fragrance free, essential oil free and alcohol free, as well as ophthalmologist tested and hypoallergenic. The formula is designed to resist water and humidity, and the curved wand is one of my favorite features because it catches, separates and lifts the lashes as I apply. And here’s my mascara trick: I don’t only coat my lashes from underneath. I apply mascara to the TOP of the lashes first, then come underneath and lift them upward with the curved wand. Coating the lash from both directions gives me a fuller, thicker-looking result all around. Small technique. Big difference. Functional Beauty extends to makeup too.
