That is so true. Before I had my son, I would see women dressed nicely, going for walks with the pram, looking like they had everything under control, and I honestly thought, “How do they make having a baby look so easy?” 😂 But the reality is, they were probably only posting on their good days. No woman looks perfect and has everything together constantly with a newborn. When I had my son, I barely left the house and I was really struggling. I had no sleep, I was exhausted, and it was so much harder than what I ever saw online. I’d even see women posting that they had gone to the gym and think, “How is that even possible?!” 😂 But realistically, that might have been one good day out of the entire month. You just never know what’s happening behind the camera. That’s why you should never believe everything you see online. Social media only shows you the parts people want you to see. Nobody is happy, perfect and living an amazing life 24/7. There’s always stuff going on behind the scenes that people don’t post. Social media can honestly be so fake, and sometimes it just makes people feel like shit about themselves because they’re comparing their real life to someone else’s carefully chosen highlights. ❤️
