I have always wanted to make this but I don’t have a pressure cooker. What would be the equivalent using a pot?

: I know it’s a hangover soup and I respect it but I feel like hangover “ food” should be quick and fast !! Some meats take long to cook and waiting an hour for a hangover soup to cook it ??? By the time it cooks the hangover will hangover on it’s own
