But we price anchor to these round numbers that we give meaning to. “I’ll be happy if it gets to $10.” “I’ll sell at $100.” “I’m waiting for $1,000.” But what’s wrong with $9.30? Or $87.69? Or even scaling out slowly the same way you scaled in? The true question is: what is the purpose for your selling? I think most people sell because they have this Peter Pan idea that they’ll buy back in at the lows. For me, this has never worked. And we’re seeing it right now. People think lower lows are coming, so they’re not adding. Use time, not price, and you get as close to the sweet spot as possible.
