We booked a wildlife boat tour during our Sitka cruise port stop, and it ended up being one of my favorite experiences of our entire Alaska cruise. Picture this: fog rolling over these tiny little islands, bald eagles everywhere, whales swimming nearby, and some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. We even saw starfish and all kinds of marine life. It was unreal. After our excursion, we headed into downtown Sitka to explore, grab some food, and walk around.
