District and all admin in my room. My normal problem child I love to death that sits next to me at my desk begins twerking and pointing at people. I catch him, say his name sternly, then ask “are you twerking because you’re avoiding work or because you’re stuck and need my help?” “I need help.” “I’ll be coming to you next. In the meantime, please refrain from busting a move.” Admin stated they approved of my classroom management. This is high school.

I had to make a general housekeeping announcement that if they lose a tooth during class, they should take it with them when they leave. “Please don’t leave any pencils, papers or body parts behind!” Worst part, it was a molar. 🤮
