They truly do!! The other day I was at the store with my kids and they both put all the groceries on the belt themselves (2.5 and 6.5 years old), and my oldest insisted on paying himself (with my card of course lol), he even grabbed the receipt and said thank you to the cashier 🥹 then when we got home they started putting the groceries on the counter for me! Zero tantrums, and happy smiles!!

I was setting up my classroom and brought my girl. I was peeling the paper off the backs of stick on cork board and saying “trash?” And she’d run over to the trash can (strategically placed all the way across the room) shouting TRASSSHHH before throwing it away and coming back for more.
