It's Just Me... AGAIN! :
I have a late run 3406E full mechanical. I want it to be more efficient and run cool egt's... some extra horsepower would be nice if possible. I watch my pyro like a hawk. I don't let it get over 900 for more than a quick minute. I don't let it go over 925-950 at all. I just bought this truck and am afraid the last guy set the fuel and air screw wrong. Can you point me in the right direction? 230k miles on an out of frame complete rebuild.

my detroit 14L had 800hp with a marine cam blew up 1 month after tune Bull gear let go and skipped timing distroyed the new can and entire engine 💀

After putting over 2 million miles behind one of those blue-green abominations and hating most of it.It was the most reliable engine I ever drove, it wasn't super great at anything except getting decent milage and getting you home, it had 2.4 million miles original without a rebuild when a new guy wrecked it.
