Gluten free cinnamon apple blondies- loaded up with fresh diced apples and a delicious maple cream cheese frosting Recipe below, or if you prefer the blog post it’s at the link in my bio! RECIPE 1 + 1/3 cup almond flour 1/3 cup oat flour 1/3 cup tapioca starch (aka tapioca flour) 1/4 cup coconut sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp sea salt 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled 2 eggs 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce 1/3 cup maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 apples, peeled and diced into bite-sized pieces (Gala or Honey crisp is best!) For the maple cream cheese frosting 4 tbsp butter, room temp 4 oz cream cheese, room temp 1/3–1/2 cup powdered sugar, depending on preferred sweetness 2 tbsp maple syrup Pinch of sea salt 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8″ pan with parchment paper (tip: spray the loaf pan first to help the parchment lay flatly). 2. In a large bowl whisk the almond flour, oat flour, tapioca starch, coconut sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and powder, and sea salt. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk the remaining wet ingredients together, then mix into the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms. Fold in the peeled and diced apples. 4. Pour batter into your lined baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to completely cool before frosting. 5. While blondies cool, make your frosting by beating all ingredeints together with a hand mixer until smooth. Spread onto cooled blondies, sprinkle with cinnamon, slice and enjoy! https://gatherednutrition.com/gluten-free-apple-blondies-with-maple-cream-cheese-frosting/ #blondies #applecinnamon #appleseason #glutenfree #glutenfreerecipes #EasyRecipes #fallrecipes #dessert
