Girl i was on YouTube during the natural hair movement 😭 the problem was everybody was lying about their texture + no one had my porosity AND density AND curl type and i ended up DEPRESSSSEDDDD
Jokes on me because I was and i still barely know what I'm doing

yep, when people ask about my hair its hard to explain that I legit *studied* my hair with endless YT videos, became a product junky as a rights of passage, and found my groove.

One of the biggest losses for me is Kimmaytube's YouTube channel, Her content was the blueprint for many natural hair creators and she introduced alot of the haircare methods and concepts people still use to this day. 😩

The were soooo many natural hair girlies whose videos I loved watching. They inspired me to create at YT channel, but that didn’t last long at all. 😂 My faves: Bubs Bee, thechicnatural, nickybnatural, Blake Jael, Racheal Akua, Armani B, Kadijah, Tyler Mika, Iyana LeShea, Roothie, Isimeme Edeko, Hazel Goddess.

Hairchime was my girl. I miss that era. What time!!
Yes! I learned from my girl Jenell aka BlakIzBeautyful on YouTube. She had thick type 4 hair like mine and had the most flawless braidouts I’d ever seen! She doesn’t do natural hair content anymore but I still do my braids outs the same way
