@agraxanonymous: Satchel Brown 🤎 Today we’re testing Satchel Brown from The Army Painter Speedpaint 2.0 range. And this is just a really good brown. Over Wraithbone, it dries incredibly smooth and even, giving us a warm leather or wooden brown across the raised areas before dropping into some really deep brown shadows in the recesses. Great contrast, basically no coffee staining, and a lovely matte finish. Over the dry brush, it gets significantly darker, almost heading towards Cygor Brown territory. But those dry-brushed highlights still shine through, taking us from almost black-brown shadows right up to much lighter brown raised details. It’s also noticeably shinier, giving us two surprisingly different finishes from the same paint. Smooth coverage, strong contrast and loads of useful natural brown tones. Satchel Brown is a great paint. Which version do you prefer? Let me know in the comments! #warhammer #warhammer40000 #warhammercommunity #minipainting #miniaturepainting
