Not just in the United States this is a word wide crisis. Many people will freeze this winter some due to shortages and others due to the high cost of heating oil. We will all need to open our hearts and homes to our less fortunate neighbours.

The Canadian government gave grants for our East coast provinces to convert to heat pumps in order to reduce heating bills. I just returned from Newfoundland and did observe that most homes/businesses had heat pumps. There is also still wood being burned for some residents. Did the US government offer any heat cost reduction options?
