@filipoque: Grandma’s preserves 🍅 I love create oil pastel drawings inspired by the childgood in which i use to spent my whole summer at grandma's place. This jars of tomatoes carefully preserved by grandma for winter. I wanted to capture that warm, nostalgic feeling with oil pastels

Better than any art AI could ever generate

Khaos :

That’s oil pastel. Do you know if there’s any other medium that gives you the same kind of texture and color intensity, but dries completely and stays permanent?

Anaeel :

I've always hated working with pastels, and I still do because of the mess they make. But guess what? I saw your painting and genuinely enjoyed it. Wishing you the best of luck!

Creeling :

May I ask what kind of paper you use? It doesn’t look too toothy but still seems to handle layering well!

joy 💖 :

incredible as always i might have to try this one out later

aasphr :

how do you store them once youre done? i don't think setting spray would really work for something so soft and messy
