Bucky :
One time, when I was a wee lass, we were put in crash position. The wings were frozen shut on our descent and the ONLY reason we survived is bc the guy used to be a pilot in the military. (My dad knows bc he overheard the gossip). Firetrucks and ambulences lined the runway. And we didnt stop until we got to the ddge--but he did it! i only remember two things both of which i pieced together at different times way later. The first is that my dad bought me a disney store toy and i was only allowed one and he promised i could play with it when we landed. I pitched a fight and cried cause I couldnt understand where my toy was--i remember this but NOT the peril we escaped so it took a while to realize. The next was later; i developed a habit of going WEEEE!!!! On take offs and landings for YEARS because it felt like a rollar coaster ride--then one day my dad told me I did that on that flight and everyone looked at me wide eyes scared and traumatized and eventually I put together thats where I got the habit 😅
