as a former ranch hand, people don't really understand livestock. a lot of people think its sunshine and roses and it's really not

Unfortunately I think Dinky being cute put your videos into the wrong algorithms. They want cute cuddly animals not the ugly side of owning livestock. I hope that they at least become more open-minded after watching your transparent videos!

Dinky brought the soft. I love seeing both sides of the farm because it’s the reality

I know ranching & caring for animals isn’t all happy times. They’re serving a purpose, ultimately. Will this calf be euthanized if nothing improves?

Thank you for showing all the sides of having stock and being on a farm. Also the not so fun real sides. You’re the best!!

If you have livestock, you have deadstock. It’s a sad reality most people don’t understand. It’s always heartbreaking loosing one. Fingers crossed he takes to meds.

Hey man I really hope you don’t let people who know way less than you about these sorts of things effect you too much. Your videos are awesome and a lot of people really enjoy them. Anyone with any sort of intelligence would know that you know what you’re doing and are taking care of these guys as good as possible.

I love your real life content. It is clear to any reasonable person that you are kind to your animals and take quality care of them. I am learning so much about ranching and cattle from you. keep it up!!

Honestly, you don’t owe anyone an explanation about what you are doing or have done.

I never saw an update, so I assume this one has passed on? I appreciate your straightforwardness, livestock is rough. I worked a farm for a few years and I'm a vet tech and man vet med is so different in large animal medicine. Farmers gotta make a lotta tough calls on the fly.

I made a comment to someone in the other video that said call a vet. Bc ai was so irritated. I said did you even watch the whole video before commenting?! 🤯 It def looks like something’s up with the leg! Poor thing! And he keeps on trying to get up! He’s a fighter!!😍

I am hoping the more farmers that show they can care for pasture pets like Dinky showing decisions they have to make that don't go the good way will help people realize that farmers aren't dicks that just don't care cause it's "just livestock" but that when so many animals are being born and existing there are going to be sad endings sometimes no matter how hard you try

I know nothing about this industry... is it normal to have so many issues with calves? Is this statistically high - or the norm?

It really sucks that you have to keep defending yourself. You have great content. I really hope instead of people making comments and being judgmental that they start realizing this is a page is a place that you can learn from if you just pay attention. I just get it cuz my husband and I raise animals as well. Things just happen, and we don't have control of that all the time. It's completely understandable that things like this are going to come up when you have a large amount of cattle. There's a lot of us that know you're doing a great job, and you take really good care of your animals. I hope that helps.
