100% !! I stepped on one of mine yesterday. Like she didn’t see my 200+ lb ass coming before she flopped down in front of me!!? I meowed right back at her! Don’t yell at me - it was YOUR fault!

I actually refuse to slow down, walk around, or otherwise adjust my movement for pets. It’s because there may be times when someone doesn’t see them there, and if the pet is accustomed to the human dodging them, they may not move. But if they know they’re going to be stepped on if they don’t move, they will learn to get out of the way. This is impoetant to me because I have kids, and elderly family. I don’t want my grandmother falling and hurting herself because she didn’t see a cat in the floor. And I don’t want to trip over a cat that darted between my feet while I’m trying to carry a child. So when they don’t move, or they get in the way of my walking, I don’t alter my step or path. They learn quickly.
