The shaking of the bin is so frustrating - it releases all of the dust back into your house and then you have to vacuum it up again. I got a Samsung stick that came with a separate tower that vacuums the dust receptacle into it HEPA bag and haven’t looked back.

Seamrippers are the best way to cut the hair from around the brush.

You can use a seam ripper to take hair off the roller without damaging the component.
