I had a seizure on holiday and despite jumping through a dozen hoops they refused my claim and purposefully made it take as long as possible. I was so stressed and unwell I gave up in the end. Cost me about 2k in the end including the cost of the original insurance. It was a scam.

I used to travel a lot and I bought travel insurance and I had met all the criteria for a claim and they just denied it and it's made me never get it ever again because it's such a scam that you pay out to them and yet they don't pay out to you when you meet all the criteria for them to pay out and they like to find workaround

insurance companies need to be properly regulated, it's unbelievable that in the UK every person who drives a car needs separate insurance, why not do it like other countries... where you only need the car insured then anyone can drive it?... there are a whole host of other issues with insurance companies in the UK.

if someone else crashes into you..completely their fault...even writes your car off...your insurance goes up for the next 5 years!! nothing you can do about it either!! All because they say that YOU are more likely to be in another accident because someone else can't drive properly. It penalises good drivers It benefits nobody but the insurance companies.
