My family used to build cars here in the US and the car we built was in the lead of the first attempt at the Indy 500. I think the race was cut short due to too many casualties? Anyway- Ford put my ancestors out of business. I did go once to Indy to see time trials. We sat all over the bleachers for the experience. The scariest seats were at the very top. Everything shook.
