@elderjandrsvzquez: WHEN WORDS ARE CHANGED, PERCEPTION CHANGES George Carlin had a way of exposing something we should never stop questioning: the language used to describe power. A killing can become a “neutralization.” Civilian deaths can become “collateral damage.” Propaganda can become “disinformation.” One group’s armed resistance can be called “terrorism,” while another’s can be called “freedom fighting.” The question isn’t whether every situation is identical—they aren't. The question is: Who gets to define the words, and why? Words matter because words shape how we understand reality. If we soften the language, we can soften the conscience. If we change the label, we can change how people react to the act. And that’s why critical thinking matters. Don’t surrender your ability to question. Don’t confuse an official explanation with unquestionable truth. Don’t let a label do your thinking for you. Think. Question. Investigate. Then form your own opinion. Because sometimes the most important thing you can do is simply refuse to stop thinking for yourself. Eιɖεર Dરε
