This is why we don't have nice things. Lol! My son hates paper towels and napkins so everything else becomes his "napkin." Curtains, couches, blankets, our clothes, his clothes lol you name it. It used to be his hair too but we've moved on from that. Something is always spilled on some surface of the house lol

I try to explain to people that she will test how child proof your house is 😂. She is going to find the breakable things. She doesn't play with toys in a traditional way. It’s like a cute 🌪️.

All of this! I love having to explain to folks why I stay home rather than bring my profoundly autistic pre-teen places with me. Their houses don't have Fort Knox style childproofing, I can't afford to replace stuff he breaks while stimming & I don't wanna deal with the meltdown when he gets tired of being told he can't touch stuff that's caught his eye.
