It just feels so difficult in moment where you’re experiencing intense emotions like heartbreak. I have moments where I see what I prefer but then the next day I feel the ache again and my thoughts bring me back to what is happening that is painful, and I don’t immediately catch myself and change my perspective.

Omg yes! I did this last night with my boyfriend. We’re at a hotel for a little staycation and he brought his PS5 which really upset me bc this weekend is just supposed to be about us. I remember being so mad that I sat at the desk so I could turn my back to him and then I quickly decided that he doesn’t want to play anymore. Five minutes later, he tells me he was joking and would never be stupid enough to bring his video games when we’re spending quality time together.
