Turn your setting on to download a video every time you post. That way when you post private or public it automatically saves to your phone in the HIGHEST quality. I noticed trying to download AFTER posting (private or public) it drops in quality. Been doing this since 2020.

I just use TikTok Studio. It looks exactly like TikTok and as soon as you’re done filming it lets you save it right to your camera roll.

I wish there was a way to download it from TikTok and it still be high-quality after you posted it. Do you know how to do that because I cannot figure it out. And all my old videos will never download good quality.
