Which pack is that? Love it! Side note, an air horn saved my group from some angry mountain goats one year and I will always carry an air horn now.

Bear spray needs to be clipped to your waist belt. You don’t have time to reach for it when you startle a momma bear with cubs. I don’t even think shoulder strap gives you adequate time to fiddle with it. Signed, Colorado GenX hiker
