Ritalin is a stimulant, so in ADHD minds it actually stimulates the brain to allow it to relax and focus. where in a typical brain it will stimulate it and create energy and alertness. Kind of like how caffeine doesnt normally wind up an ADHD child like it would another.

From my years as a teacher, I learned quite a bit about Ritalin. For someone with ADHD, it slows down their brain to allow them to focus and be more calm. For someone without ADHD, it does the opposite, it stimulates the brain and increases energy. Crazy how different brains work!

I take stimulants for chronic fatigue and if you find the ritalin is a little too harsh I highly recommend modafinil. It makes my brain fog a lot better and helps with energy without feeling so intense.

If you don’t have adhd it will give you energy. If you do it helps calm you so you can focus and get more shit done. Well for me anyways lol

Stimulants are used off label for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome too :) I have adhd so we just prescribed them for that officially, but I only wanted them for energy. Unfortunately stimulants give me horrific, cystic acne so I can't use them, but they really did help

ADHD girly here 🙋♀️Ritalin calms/focuses people with ADHD due to the chemical make up in our brains! If you gain energy it’s because it’s a stimulant and people who do not have ADHD will get energy from it! Wishing you the best Steve! 💓
